About Us

"We are Concordia Art. Led by organist and educator Kamil Vavrek, we build a bridge between history and contemporary interpretation. Our mission is not only to organize concerts but to create the 'art of harmony' – a harmony between the place, the performer, and the listener."

Main Project: Ars Hostiensis 2026
The Ars Hostiensis (Art of Hostýn) project is the premier and foundational initiative of our platform. It serves as a model of our approach to sacred music: blending deep respect for the venue with professional dramaturgy and a vision for long-term sustainability.
Why is Ars Hostiensis our pilot project?
We chose Svatý Hostýn for its unique spiritual energy and its exceptional pipe organ. In 2026, we are establishing the standards here that will become the cornerstone for our future activities throughout the region.
Within this pilot project, we are implementing:
Dramaturgical Order: For the first time, we are introducing a clear system to the basilica's concerts, divided into the Vox Artis series (vocal-instrumental) and the Organum series (exclusively organ).
Bridging Theory and Practice (Juventus): We are testing a collaborative model with conservatories, where students perform alongside professionals within the authentic environment of a major pilgrimage site.
Transparent Patronage: We are piloting a direct support system for the Hostýn organ. Every concert visitor becomes an integral part of preserving this "royal instrument."
What does Ars Hostiensis bring in 2026?
This year is our "litmus test." We are focusing on:
High Artistic Standards: Selecting performers capable of filling the monumental space of the basilica.
Organizational Precision: From promotion and challenging logistics at the Hostýn site to delivering a top-tier acoustic experience.
Community Building: We want listeners to return to Hostýn not by chance, but for a specific, high-quality artistic experience.
"Ars Hostiensis is more than a concert series. It is our manifesto. We are demonstrating that sacred music in the 21st century can be vibrant, professional, and inspiring for all generations."
